National Glory with Grand Cordon

Recipient
The medal features an eagle in the center and streaks of gold on the border. The order without ranks was instituted in 1937 and used in 1938.

Design
The medal features an eagle in the center and streaks of gold and four plum blossoms on the border, symbolizing that the awardee helps bring a bright future to the nation. Regulations governing this order were passed in 1937 and took effect in 1938.
